Water leakage may exist through the seal between the cabin air filter housingat and the body. The seal itselves can be the problem. Your dealer might have a solution but the diy way is to use kit ore to make a new seal. I used a seal from the DIY shop.

To leave the wipers positioned vertically on the windshield, proceed as follows: |
Remove the round plastic plug (press the pin in) (left picture), remove the cap from the edge to the windscreen and gently bend the hood up. Support the hood on the left with a long screwdriver (or something) so that it stays open (right picture). You now will be able to see the filter. |
Bend the clamps aside and remove the filter. |
Left and right in the filter you see two clamps, make them loose and remove the housing. Clean the housing at the backside and remove the old gasket. |

Place a new gasket on the back of the filter. I used flexible watertight seal from the DIY shop. Some people use kit instead of a seal. |
