In the 9-3 the positions are present in which floor lighting can be placed. There are 2 possibilities regarding the wiring:
Wiring is present
Connecting foot lighting is simple if the wiring is present. In this case, the connection is located on the driver's side at the bottom of the dashboard, and a connector on the right side in the instrument panel below the glove box. Basically you just need to remove the plate above the pedals, unscrew and remove the glove box (for glove box remove see description in the work "Wiring is not present"). For the position of the connectors see pictures below.

Wiring is not present
If no wiring is present, then we need a switched minus and a plus. The plus will be taken from the connector of the glove box (is within the correct fuse group). The switched minus comes from the ceiling light. Use led light is the floor lightning and in the ceiling light to prevent the system of using to much current.
To begin you will first need to buy some things, you need 5 sleeves plus one connector (first picture right) and a sleeve as in the rightmost picture. Furthermore, about 2 meters of cable (double wires) and one single cable of approximately 2 meters. The interior lihts of the Opel Astra (as in the description of the courtesy lights) fits into the existing cutouts. |

Remove the panel above the pedals by the 2 screws at the indicated positions (left). Then remove the rear transparent part of the ceiling lights. Pull the 1-core wire from the interior through the ceiling to the right window style. Lead the wire to the dashboard. Make sure it is not covering the airbag. Connect the wire with the connector to the red-green wire from the ceiling lights. |

The wires should be connected according to the diagram on the left. Attach the 2-wire wire to one of the 2 lights and place that light in the recess of the panel above the foot pedals. Pull the 2-leads wire through the center console to the right side of the car. Place the 2nd light in the recess under the glove box and connect one of the leads 2-leads wire together with the 1-lead wire (from the ceiling) to one of the poles of the light (1). Then connect the other wire of the 2-leads wire together with a new 1-lead wire to the other pole of the light (2). Use the sleeve from the upper right picture to connect this 1-lead wire to the latter thread to the red-yellow connection of the glove box illumination. |

Then connect the lighting to the glove box, connect the air hose and fit the glove box. Mount the panel above the pedals. |
