The contacts of the switch should be connected to plug H8-3 in the door. You need three connectors like the richt connector in the image on. From the left connector in the image you need up to three connectors. This depends on the number of unused positions in the plug H8-3. (E.g. if your car is equipped with courtesy lighting, you need only two connectors). Connectors are available at a good carshop or at an Opel/Vauxhall dealer. (tip, take the plug and the switch to the shop for the right size) |

Plug H8-3 is located approximately in the middle of the door panel. If you have no courtesy lighting then you will find a empty connector. |

Have a look which positions are occupied in the plug. Take three leads of approximately 60 to 75 cm, diam minimum 0,5 mm2. Attach the right connector to one side of the leads. These connectors will be attached to the switch. Make sure that you isolate these connectors i.o.t to prevent contact between the connectors.Look if the positions 1, 2 and 6 of the plug H8-3 are occupied (numbers are on the plug). Mount on the other side of the leads the correct number of required connectors (left connector in the image). |

Connection diagram: At the right, you see which positions should be connected to each other. Attach the connectors in the switch. Assemble the pins in the plug on the correct position. If one of the positions have been filled then you will need to strip the lead at that positionuse solder to make necessary connect.Attach the wires in the cableholders and fix them with tape to the door panel. |

Before connecting the plugs of the door panel check whether you have connected the correct positions with each other. Then mount all the connectors and the cable of the door opener and attach the door panel. Good luck with the new switch. |
